TERMS &
CONDITIONS.
The terms that apply when you work with DigiSlick, plus our refund and privacy policies. Last updated 17 July 2026.
Terms of Service
Agreement
By commissioning work from DigiSlick ("we", "us"), you ("the client") agree to these terms. Each project is confirmed by a written quote or brief, which together with this page forms the agreement between us.
Quotes and scope
Every project is quoted individually based on the brief you provide. A quote covers the deliverables, revision rounds, and timeline stated in it. Work that falls outside that scope โ added deliverables, extra revision rounds, or a changed direction after approval โ is quoted separately before we proceed.
Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a deposit is payable before work begins, with the balance due on completion and before final files are released. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
Timelines
Estimated timelines begin once the deposit and all required materials (brief, assets, brand files, access credentials) have been received. Delays in feedback or in supplying materials extend the timeline accordingly. We will always tell you if a date is at risk.
Revisions
The number of revision rounds is stated in your quote. Revisions refine work within the agreed direction; a request to change direction entirely after approval is treated as new work and quoted separately.
Client materials
You confirm that any text, images, logos, audio, video, or other material you supply is either owned by you or properly licensed for the use intended, and that we may use it to produce the work. You remain responsible for material you supply.
Ownership and usage rights
On full payment, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers to you. We retain ownership of working files, source projects, and unused concepts unless their transfer is agreed in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, stock, plugins, music) remain subject to their own licences, and any licence required is your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
Portfolio rights
We may display completed work in our portfolio, on this website, and on our social channels. If a project is confidential, tell us in writing and we will keep it private or anonymise it.
Confidentiality
We keep non-public information you share with us confidential and use it only to deliver your project. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA on request.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. If you cancel, you remain liable for work completed up to that point, and deposits are handled under the Refund Policy below.
Liability
We deliver work to a professional standard, but we do not guarantee specific commercial outcomes such as sales, views, rankings, or growth. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Third-party services
Projects may rely on services we do not control โ hosting, domain registrars, app stores, plugins, or platforms. We are not responsible for their downtime, policy changes, pricing, or rejection of a submission, though we will help you resolve issues where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the date your project is confirmed is the one that applies to it.
Refund Policy
Deposits
Deposits reserve your place in our schedule and cover the discovery, planning, and concept work that begins immediately. Deposits are non-refundable once that work has started.
Before work begins
If you cancel before any work has started, your deposit is refunded in full.
After work has begun
If you cancel mid-project, we invoice for the work completed and the hours committed up to the date of cancellation. Anything you have paid beyond that amount is refunded. Work completed to that point is released to you once the outstanding balance, if any, is settled.
Completed and delivered work
Once final files have been delivered and approved, the project is considered complete and is not refundable. If something delivered does not match the agreed brief, tell us and we will correct it โ see below.
If the work is not right
If a deliverable does not match what was agreed in the brief, raise it with us within 14 days of delivery. We will revise it at no charge until it meets the agreed scope. This covers work that departs from the brief, not a change of preference after approval.
Subscriptions and retainers
Ongoing arrangements can be cancelled with written notice before the next billing date. The current period is not refunded, but you will not be billed again and you keep everything delivered during that period.
How to request a refund
Email info@thedigislick.com with your project name and the reason for the request. We respond within one business day and process approved refunds to the original payment method, usually within 5โ10 business days depending on your provider.

How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months. Project and billing records are kept as long as required for legal and accounting purposes, typically seven years.
Security
Our site is served over HTTPS, and access to project files and correspondence is limited to the people working on your project. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@thedigislick.com and we will respond within one business day.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new revision date.
